Enseignement technique au Maroc : impact de la langue française sur le processus d’apprentissage des étudiants

LAILA ABOUSSI

Abstract

The situation of technical teaching in Morocco shows that there are shortcomings which seem to persist despite the reforms the Moroccan educational system has undergone. It is no longer about describing this teaching's current situations, but it is, above all, about finding a remedy to them by admitting that the linguistic problems the students encounter deprive them from persevering in the technical domain. The survey we have conducted within the Electric Engineering Branch at L'École Supérieure de Technologie (College of Technology) in Agadir has allowed us to detect the causes that strongly relate to the French language and the teaching of scientific subjects in secondary schools. Analyzing the direct consequences on the students learning process will allow us to handle the problem correctly and suggest some solutions.
