Abstract

This article aims at analyzing professional teachers’ expertise by listening to their predictions of difficulties of the tasks assigned to pupils. To achieve this result, we surveyed ten skilled technology teachers. We questioned them about the various levels of difficulties in technical drawing exercises. Scanning the results helped us determine the elements and the characteristics of the tasks assigned to pupils. As well as the reasons behind choosing those type of activities and considering them as a determiner of the level of difficulty. This characterization of prescribed spots regarding difficulty level will enable us in the future to establish a database that will allow us to design training protocol for the novice technology teachers.
