La lumière en tant qu’entité dans la pensée des enfants de 5 à 8 ans : une approche didactique à travers le logiciel scratch

Abstract

In this article, we present a research on the role of teaching that aims to destabilize the mental representations of kindergarten and primary school students on light. The transformation of representations was studied on two groups of children aged 5-6 and 7-8 years, who participated in didactic interactions based on a digital software of the "scratch" type. In all three research questions studied, the progress of both groups between pre-test and post-test was significant. No statistically significant differences were recorded between the two groups in terms of the explanation of light-related phenomena, which was consistent with the scientific model.
