Περίληψη

This paper aims at analyzing the representations of Zak Kostopoulos and the two main persons accused of his death in the centre of Athens in September 2018. The data includes all relevant articles published in the first five days after Kostopoulos’ death in five popular news websites. Following van Leeuwen’s (2008) framework, the findings suggest that different strategies are followed for the social actors involved, suggesting a lack of balance, despite individual differences.
