Focus and Scope
Patras Working Papers in Linguistics (PWPiL) is a biennial edition which brings together articles by postgraduate students, members of staff and other affiliates of the Linguistics Division of the Department of Philology, University of Patras.

Peer Review Process
Patras Working Papers in Linguistics welcomes papers, dealing with any field of Linguistics, synchronic or diachronic, theoretical or applied. Papers can be submitted in English or Greek and they will be accepted after a peer review. The editor of PWPL will pick the reviewers from scholars or other experts who expressed a willingness to referee for the journal. Submissions will be evaluated by two anonymous reviewers according to: (a) the significance of the main ideas; (b) the quality of the papers; (c) the aims, argumentation and conclusions of the work; (e) the bibliographic completeness. Reviewers will send comments to the editor about the papers and the editor will make the final decision about the publication of the submission. Comments will be sent in 40 days after the submission of the paper.
Publication Frequency
PWPL is planned to appear in one volume every two years.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Patras Working Papers in Linguistics
Patras Working Papers in Linguistics is a biennial edition, publishing linguistic papers by affiliates of Linguistics Division of the Department of Philology of the University of Patras.
