Management and development of research at the University of Patras: A big challenge (full text in Greek)

Abstract

This text is a transcript of an oral presentation made by the former Vice President of the University of Patras at the Network’s doctoral level seminar, entitled ";;;;;;;European Policy on Education: Theory, methodology, analysis, interpretation";;;;;;;. The purpose of the presentation is to examine the management and development of research at the University of Patras, 2005-2009. Through his personal experience, Anastassopoulos attempts to outline, on the one hand, the overall context in which the Greek University operates in the fields of research and policy, and, on the other hand, endeavors to fulfill its development in particular at the University of Patras during the period in question.
