Influence of internal quality mechanisms on acquisition of employability skills by business education students in tertiary institutions, Nigeria

Abstract

The study investigated internal quality mechanisms for business education students in Nigerian tertiary institutions to acquire employable skills. The study design employed was a descriptive survey. The mean and standard deviation were used to answer the three objectives, null hypotheses were examined using an independent sample t-test and linear regression for the main hypothesis at the 5% level of significance. The time management, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities of business education students were moderately impacted by internal quality mechanisms. The mean assessments of male and female respondents on the impact of internal quality systems on time management abilities varied significantly.
