The connection between university and labour market through the prism of the "recontextualisation" of curricula in the French universities (full text in Greek)
Abstract
One of the main objectives of higher education policy nowadays is the connection between the university and the labour-market. The paper explores the implementation of this policy in France, translated into a policy of “professionalisation” of university degrees. The research examines the role of the socio-institutional context in orientating the semantic and practical realizations of the policy. It also sheds light on changes in curricula and on the social and cognitive stakes of these internal changes. The paper builds upon the theoretical framework of B. Bernstein, especially the concept of “recontextualisation of knowledge” (2000), combining an analysis of social practices and an analysis of contents.
